June is National Homeownership Month and to celebrate, the Washington County CDA will be offering free homebuyer education classes at its office in Woodbury.

“Homeownership remains one of the cornerstones of American society,” said Barbara Dacy, Executive Director of the CDA. “Where homeownership thrives, we see neighborhoods that are more stable, schools that do better, and streets that are safer. We’re proud to play a part in building better neighborhoods across Washington County and the entire east metro.”

CDA Home Stretch workshops will be held on Tuesday, June 4th and Saturday, June 22nd at the CDA office, 7645 Currell Boulevard in Woodbury. Each class runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Participants need only attend on one day.

Classes are led by certified CDA counselors, and feature local realtors and lenders who help participants better understand the homebuying process.

Interested homebuyers can sign up one of three ways. Online signup is simple! Clicking here will take you to our Eventbrite page. Otherwise, residents can call 651-202-2822 or email the CDA at [email protected]. All attendees will be eligible to win a $40 Target gift card. One card will be given away at each class.

If you’re looking to buy a home, we’ll help you get there!
