“Barbara is beloved by her staff and her peers. Her agency is a model for what can be built when those at the top lead through service. She has mentored many staff who have gone on to be change agents and community leaders in their own right. Even after she decides to pass the torch, there are countless others that she has nurtured and influenced and who stand ready to carry on with the important work that remains.”
